I'm losin it

I'm losing it. Literally. Maybe it's because of the move and I can't keep track of things. Or it might be the gene I inherited from my mom. We have the same problem. Keys, phones, sunglasses, important papers.  you name it and we can make it disappear. Kinda like magic, except not on purpose. Sometimes it's frustrating. But it always turns into something to laugh about later on. (some cases MUCH later on)
Moving down here I've misplaced A LOT of things. My camera charger, car keys, tweezers (let's just say I was growing a uno brow. Not my best look) earrings, shoes, purses. I can't keep track of things. I think I just need my family to help me to keep track of things. I  miss them.
Last Saturday was my best Friend Mandee's bridal shower!! Oh my goodness I am soo excited for her to get married. August 18th. :)

 I was in a rush to get some last minute items for the shower and in the process lost my phone. I think it was at Wal-Mart. Most people know I am terrible with phones. I always reply back hours after getting a text. I misplace my phone (all the time) Dropped it a ton. I've Smashed it in the car door, once I left it on top of my car and drove away. (thank you mail man for finding it in the middle of Harrison Blvd, I made him brownies after that) It's really not a good habit. You don't realize how much you need/use your phone until it's gone. And mine is gone. All of those pictures. Contacts. Gone. R.I.P blessed phone. 

 So now I have no way to get ahold of friends and Family. My social life is suffering a little bit. I haven't been on a date all week.  But I've had lots of one-on-one time with the Olympics. GO USA! We are dominating. (but don't we always :) )

I've had so many new adventures here. I hiked the Y. I'm an official COUGAR! :) I was soo excited.  The view from the Y is gorgeous. I just love Utah.

I didn't take this but you can see how small the people look on it! It's huge!

Down here I am learning a lot about myself. Like how I don't know how to be a full grown up yet. I embarrass myself daily. Like the time I went to a drive through paid for my food and drove off....without the food. I had to  put my car in reverse and back up to the window. The reverse of shame. I think everyone inside saw. The guy at the window was laughing pretty hard when I got back. People are still honking at me. Constantly. I also get lost daily here. I thought I was starting to get the hang of places but then I get all turned around, I always plan for "get lost time" now when I go places. I realized I completely forgot how to parallel park. So my car sticks halfway out in the street. Hopefully it doesn't get hit again. Maybe someday I will master the art of being an adult and doing adultish things. Who knows?

I've been living with my grandparents for a month and I would recommend it to everyone! My grandparents are the sweetest things. They have been so great to me. Grandpa drove me to my first day of work so I could get there safely. ( I think he worries about my driving skills) Grandma makes me gourmet lunches and cuts my sandwiches in fourths for me. They feed me way to much :) and I love it. One Sunday we had two dinners, no we had two feasts. I'm not kidding. It was delicious. I was in a food coma after. Grandma takes me shopping. :) Grandpa's fixed my car. He helped pay for my new tires. He changed my oil, cleaned my engine, waxed my car AND organized all the important papers into a folder, in case I get pulled over. They are saints. I only have one week left here in Spanish Fork. I can't believe it.

Grandpa and Grandma took me to the Manti temple because it was the temple they were married in. Aren't they cute? The temple was gorgeous and I loved hearing my grandparents "falling in love" story

They've also taken me to the Timpanogas temple this week. I had never been there and  oh man it was so pretty. All temples are so peaceful and gorgeous. I absolutely love it! There was a ton of weddings that day so I got to go bride stalking and see all of the happy, beautiful brides on their special day. I might even be in some of their wedding pictures. :)

I'm learning so much being down here. I miss my family like crazy. But there are soo many new adventures awaiting and I can't wait to begin a new chapter in my life!
